New Business Development Manager

POSPAL/BOTHUB is a B2B technology solution provider in the POINT-OF-SALE and Robotics/Automation space. Our customers' verticals are broad and can range from the hospitality industry (cafes, restaurants, RSL clubs) to supermarkets and hotels.

We are currently looking for a HUNTER Business Development Manager to help sell our leading POS software and robotics solution to businesses that are in need of a better solution to run their businesses.


Your day-to-day...
Lead generation: Identify new buyers, and hospitality businesses (cafes, restaurants, RSL clubs, hotels, etc) that would benefit from using our point-of-sale software or our robots! (we also have an extensive database of existing leads + attending exhibitions). Strong relationship-building F2F and lead generation are a must

Sales: Identify the right profile and run the entire sales cycle through to closure. Develop your pipeline through multiple channels, cold calling, door knocking, networking, referrals, etc. Hitting business KPIs and sales targets consistently.

Participate in making Pospal / Bothub better: Providing valuable feedback to management and other key stakeholders in order to drive better business decisions and outcomes

What you'll bring to the table...

- You have strong experience in solution selling methodologies: You have a curiosity to understand the Buyer's core opportunity areas, matching and linking our solution back to individual clients' needs. Using your EQ, you identify pain points quickly, using your EQ and adapt your pitch accordingly
- You are a clear and open communicator: this role is all about dealing with people so you need strong written and verbal communication
- You can manage objections with ease: we are selling a product that in some cases is intimidating to a hospitality business and you'll need to help educate the buyer on why it benefits them
- You love the customer: you leave no stone unturned to ensure that both our buyers and suppliers have a flawless experience with our products and service.
- You think strategically: this role will require you to understand how our verticals operates and sell them our solution accordingly
- You keep yourself accountable: we're a growing team in a dynamic start-up, so you'll need to be independent and fully own your tasks and own your goals, while we support your learning and progression
- You are organised: you'll be managing several buyers simultaneously in different stages of the process so you need to enjoy keeping track of all your tasks and tick them off your list. Admin and note-keeping are KEY here. We use Trello.
- You are a team player: it's really important that you are a team-focused person as we all rely on each other every day
