FASHION DESIGNER (CLOTHING) | FULL-TIME | E-LADY FASHION | SYDNEY |





We are a young worldwide women’s fashion wholesaler for clothing, accessories, handbags and fashion related products. We have four wholesale outlets in Australia. We are seeking a highly talented, self-motivated and experienced designer to join our fast paced team.





The ideal candidate must have the below capabilities:

Analysing emerging fashion trends and trends relating to fabrics, colours and styles.
Creating ideas from design through to production.
Have pattern making and technical knowledge for production of designs.
Sourcing and selecting fabrics and trims for designs.
Working closely with sales and production teams, both autonomously and in a team to ensure items suit customers and our target market and meet price points.
Must be a sample size 8 for sample fittings.



Candidate requirements of this role:

Tertiary education degree in fashion.
Minimum 1 year experience in fashion design industry.
Highly proficient in Adobe creative suite.
Passionate about design and fashion.
Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
A can-do attitude, good communication skills and willingness to be a team player.
Overseas buying and sourcing experience preferred.
AU Size 8.
