Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, including cream cheese scones, butter cookies, and other pastries, ensuring high quality and consistency in every product.
• Create and develop new recipes and dessert concepts in line with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage ingredient usage, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients.
• Work collaboratively with the team to fulfill daily production schedules and meet customer demands.
• Assist in decorating and packaging desserts to ensure they are visually appealing and ready for sale.
• Provide support during promotional events or busy periods, such as Christmas and other holidays.
Skills and Requirements:
• Proven experience in baking or pastry production (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and food safety regulations.
• Creativity and passion for creating beautiful and delicious desserts.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and public holidays as needed.
• Long-term stability and dedication to the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Formal training or certification in pastry arts or baking is a plus.
• Experience in preparing and serving beverages (e.g., coffee, matcha drinks) is an advantage.
